Melissa Olate, Hermana Romanticista, pledged the Zeta line of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter in the Spring of 2011. She is the number four of her line. Melissa is majoring in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. She previously attended the Academy of Art University where she was pursuing Fashion Design before enrolling at SUNY Plattsburgh. Melissa also attended the Parsons School of Art and Design at New School University through a high school program.

 

Melissa served as a member of IYLI, International Youth Leadership Insitutue, where she was given the opportunity of traveling to South Africa. She has also served as the Secretary (Spring 2011-Spring 2012), ISA Delegate (Fall 2011-Spring 2012), and Public Relations Chair (Fall 2011-Fall 2012) of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter. In addition, Melissa held an executive position as the Public Relations chair of El Pueblo, the Latino Student Union.
