Herlina Pichardo pledged for the Alpha Epsilon chapter in Spring 2013. She is the number four of her Line. Herlina graduated Spring of 2014 after majoring in Latin American Studies with a double minor in Anthropology and Spanish. She was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Some of Herlina's passions are learning about different cultures and also learning about Latin American history and issues faced in Latin America.

 

Herlina was Vice President of the Alpha Epsilon Chapter's Executive Board.

 

As far as extracurricular programs go, she was the Vice President and Secretaryof El Pueblo, the Latino Student Union, Service Project Chair of the Multicultural Alliance (2011-2012), Hall Council President of Harrington Hall, Model OAS from 2012-2013, High School Model OAS in 2012 and a Spanish tutor. 

 

Honors and Awards: The Leonard A. Voss and Marthann Hill Voss Model OAS Scholarship and SSS/Trio Challenge Grant for Good Academic Standing. Herlina made the Dean’s List consecutively from the Spring of 2011 to the Spring of 2013.
